Accessions 22822 and 24429a are two copies of the chart containing the descendants of John Carter (1608-1669), the immigrant who was married five times and lived in Corotoman, Lancaster County, Virginia. Includes, primarily, the descendants of Robert Carter ("King Carter," 1662-1732) of Corotoman, Lancaster County, and his first wife, Judith Armistead (1665-1699), and the many descendants who lived at Shirley Plantation, Charles City County, Virginia. The originals are filed as Accession 29503 (2) and Accession 29503 (3). Accession 41469 is an updated chart of the descendants of John Carter (1608-1669) of Corotoman, Lancaster County, Virginia.
